About Me

My name is Nicole and I have been working with animals since high school and have been in the veterinary field since my junior year. I graduated from Colby Community College with my Associates in Applied Science in Veterinary Technology in 2004 and have been working in veterinary medicine for over 20 years. I am actively licensed with the State of Kansas. I have experience in small animal, mixed animal and toxicology and strongly love all animals. We have dogs of our own that are my world, so you can rest assured your pets will be in the best of hands!

Care Information

Dogs will have exercise time (as tolerated) separately in a fully fenced yard, unless they are from the same household for safety and health reasons.

If your pet is not here for Recovery or Medical Boarding a maximum of two medications can be administered morning and night. Additional medications can be given for an additional fee. Please see the Add-Ons page for info.

Ramps and slings are available to assist senior dogs and post-surgical dogs with steps.

If your pet is coming for Recovery or Medical Boarding please provide care information from their doctor or their normal daily routine prior to arrival on the check in form. This will be sent after your reservation is confirmed.

Please bring an adequate supply of your pet's normal food in a sealed container such as individual baggies or a plastic tote. Boarding in a new place can be stressful, and a new food will increase the chance of vomiting and diarrhea during their stay.

All pets must be on flea/tick prevention. If signs of fleas are noted they will be treated and the owner will be charged.

Proof of vaccination from your vet is required for all pets to board. Required vaccines are as follows: Rabies, DHPP, bordetella (ideally bordetella should be given at least six weeks prior to boarding so it can be boostered for maximum protection if your pet has not had it yearly.) This record needs to be sent prior to your pets arrival.

Nail trim $20 (must be tolerant of nail trims and not require sedation)

Flea treatment $20

Daily feeding with GI friendly diet instead of owner food $5/day.

Medication administration of more than two medications for standard boarders: $2/med per day

Included Services

Multiple daily play periods in the fully fenced yards, walks as tolerated and elevated pet beds for naps in the sun as weather allows.

Simplisafe security system with burgular and fire alerts for entire premises.

Kennel rooms are located in the main area of the home for close monitoring.

Owner works from home so pets will have plenty of supervision and social time.

Large, reinforced ProSelect or similar reinforced kennels are available for safety if your pet is anxious or escapes normal kennels.

Daily frozen Kong treat if diet allows, no extra charge!
